Chocolate Chip Ricotta Cake

This traditional Italian Chocolate Chip Ricotta Cake is the perfect dessert or snacking cake to have on hand. Made with ricotta cheese and mini chocolate chips, this simple cake is the best texture with so much flavor.

Cream together the butter, sugar, and ricotta for about five minutes. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Beat in the dry ingredients just until the mixture is combined; then add the mini chocolate chips.

Bake the cake until light golden brown in color and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Dust the top of the cooled cake with powdered sugar and sprinkle on more mini chocolate chips.

Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to a week. This is a perfectly moist cake with so much flavor!
