Turkey Orzo Soup

Use leftover turkey or chicken to make this easy and delicious soup!

Turkey Orzo Soup is the best way to use leftover turkey! This healthy and filling soup is packed full of flavor and comes together in just minutes!

All you need is leftover diced turkey meat, orzo pasta, chicken broth, fresh veggies, olive oil, and seasoning!

Start by cooking the diced onion, celery, and carrots in a large dutch oven or soup pot.

Once the veggies have softened, about 5 minutes, stir in the garlic and seasonings.

Add in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. (You could also use turkey broth of water and bouillon here.)

Once the broth comes to a boil, add in the diced turkey and orzo pasta. Cook until the orzo is al dente; about 9 minutes.

Finish off the soup with a handful of chopped parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon. Grated parmesan is great too!
