Italian Roast Turkey

Italian-inspired roast turkey made with olive oil, lemon zest, and herbs

Italian Roast Turkey is an easy and fuss-free recipe with those delicious Italian herbs and flavors you love with no brining or basting required!

All you need is olive oil, lemon zest, fresh rosemary, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, Italian herbs, broth and a turkey!

While the oven preheats, mix together the olive oil and spices. Place the thawed turkey on a roasting pan and pat dry with paper towels.

Use a brush to coat the turkey in the olive oil herb mixture. Pour broth into the bottom of the roasting pan, cover with foil and bake.

Bake at 325 degrees removing the foil half way though. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Let the turkey rest, covered, for 20-30 minutes before carving. Use the pan juices to make a delicious gravy!
