Baci di Dama

Start by placing the hazelnuts, flour, sugar, and baking powder in a food processor. Pulse until finely ground.

Add in the cold cubed butter and continue processing until the dough comes together.

Place the baci di dama dough on plastic wrap and form into a log or disk shape. Cover and chill for an hour.

Roll the dough into small balls and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before filling.

Spoon melted chocolate onto a cookie. Top with another cookie. Let the chocolate set before serving. You could also use Nutella here.
